In a bid to satisfy customers needs and also keep up with current technological trends penetrating the system, phone manufacturers have dived into producing smart phones with additional specs to generate quality yet affordable smart phones to suit the Ghanaian economic trend.
The industry players believe such move will guarantee them a safe spot on the Ghanaian market.
Speaking to Citi Business News, the Sales Manager of Fero Mobile, a new mobile brand on the Ghanaian market Anata Patmanaban, says their outfit has specially designed mobile phones to fit the Ghanaian market with ease.
“Keeping the affordability factor in mind, we are devising a marketing plan which will create comfort to the consumers in terms of what kind of technology they can look forward to in our devices and the price span they can pay for it.” he said.
Commenting on the current economic situation in Ghana he added that “In terms of the current economic conditions which we are very aware of, because of our own vintage in this part of the continent, we have kept those things in mind. In terms of the affordability, we have kept the economic condition with the people in mind. We have devised our own portfolio to come close to the consumers’ requirement in terms of technology combined with the right pricing.
Fero mobile is a new global Smartphone manufacturer which seeks to establish its products on the Ghanaian market. Mr Anata said he believes the addition of Fero devices onto the market will be embraced.
“”Fero as a brand which is new in the markets, we are very confident that we can contribute to the different needs of consumers. Although there is a competition which is existing, we know the consumers will love it.”
