Statistics published by the BoG showed that imports in Ghana decreased to 3279.88 USD Million in the second quarter of 2015 from 3332.50 USD Million in the first quarter of 2015.
Imports in Ghana averaged 2576.29 USD Million from 2003 until 2015, reaching an all-time high of 4747.16 USD Million in the second quarter of 2012 and a record low of 692.74 USD Million in the first quarter of 2003.
Ghana imports mostly industrial supplies, capital and consumer goods and foodstuffs. Its main imports partners are China, United States, Belgium, United Kingdom and France.
