The pace of development projects in the Northern Region has been affected by the skyrocketing of cement prices.
A bag of cement is sold between GHC28 and GHC 30 in the Tamale Metropolis.
Despite the upward adjustment in the prices, the commodity is in short supply in the entire Northern Region.
This has crippled both building and road contractors as well as private estate developers in the region.
