Citi Business News checks at various fuel pump stations in the Greater Accra Region shows the acute shortage of fuel that hit some parts of the region last week has ended.

Many fuel stations in the capital, as well some regions across the country were hit with an acute shortage of fuel last week.

A visit to some fuel stations revealed that unlike the beginning of last week, all the stations now have fuel for sale.

The queues noted at some stations last week, were also non-existent.

According to the manager of Total filling station in Adabraka, in Accra, they now have enough stock for petro.

he adds that they do not anticipate any shortage in the near future.

Meanwhile at the GOIL filling station in Adabraka, one of the attendants told Citi Business News they have run out of petrol stock and not sure when they will receive a new consignment.

But an attendant at a Shell filling station, opposite Vodafone’s Head Office, near the Nkrumah Circle, says they were in good business because they have enough stock of petrol.
