Cheil Ghana, has appointed Michael Mensa-Bonsu as its new Managing Director.
His new role will see him leading the enhancement of the capabilities of Cheil Ghana as well as the expansion of the company’s client base, which includes Tech Giant, Samsung Electronics.
According to a statement copied to Citi Business News, Michael comes along with more than 12 years’ experience in Advertising, having planned campaigns for international blue chip brands such as Airtel Ghana, Barclays Ghana, Accra Brewery Limited, Vodacom South Africa, Transnet, Toyota South Africa, among others.
Since joining Cheil Ghana in July 2015 as Strategy and Campaign Director, he has been instrumental in helping the agency pick up two new accounts thanks to his commitment to creating an agile and creative culture.
Mr. Stephen Ho Hyack Han, the immediate past Managing Director of Cheil Ghana in a congratulatory message described Michael as “a true leader with an incredible ability to inspire confidence in those around him.
He builds strong working relationships with clients and, with his clear passion for great work, will complement the talent on offer at Cheil Ghana.”
Michael holds a Bcom Degree in Economics from the University of South Africa, a Brand Leadership postgraduate degree from Vega, the Brand Communication School in South Africa and is currently pursuing an MBA with Warwick Business School in Coventry, UK.
