The National Communications Authority (NCA), has launched activities to mark its 20th Anniversary milestone as the regulator of the communications sector of the country.
The 20th anniversary celebrations are aimed at telling the story of how the NCA begun, the challenges and breakthroughs experienced.
The theme for the yearlong celebration is “NCA, 20years of progressive and dynamic regulatory achievements”.
The launch was also used to unveil the regulators anniversary logo.
The National Communications Authority, (NCA), was established by an act of Parliament, Act 524 in December 1996, which has been replaced and replaced by the National Communications Authority Act, 2008 (Act 769).
The Authority is the statutory body mandated to license and regulates electronic communication activities and service in the country.
