She joins the company from Honeywell in the United States, a Fortune 100 company where she had global HR management responsibility for teams in the United States, Europe and the Middle East.

Hannah takes over from Stella Agyenim-Boateng, who has voluntarily exited the company, effective March 31, 2016, after 8 years with Vodafone and 20 years with the erstwhile Ghana Telecom company.

Hannah Ashiokai Akrong started her career with Multimedia Broadcasting Company, Ghana before joining Ernst & Young, where she worked in a consulting capacity with their HR Advisory team.

She has also worked with Medtronic, a world leader in medical technology in various functional and business partner HR roles across various divisions of the company in the United States, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Hannah has a BSc in Marketing from the University of Ghana and a Masters in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, USA and the IAG School of Business, Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium.
