The biggest event in the ICT industry, the African Mobile and ICT Expo, MOBEX, takes off this morning at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
The event is one of a number of collaborations with Citi Fm that will be featured on the Citi Business Festival.
MOBEX will see important trends in the technological world and how businesses can take advantage of, being discussed.
The three day conference will also see over one hundred technology brands display their products at the event.
There will be a number of events that will be rolled out during the expo including; the thought-leadership conference and Masterclass sessions.
The thought-leadership conference will bring together professionals across banking and finance, health, education, agriculture, entertainment and telecommunication to deliver perspectives to the theme from their own individual fields of endeavour all geared at achieving the maximum impact.
The Master Class will on the other hand setup for a rare opportunity of direct engagement with professionals, entrepreneurs, graduates and even students with successful industry practitioners within the value chain of Information Communication Technology.
Emphasis will however be based on Digital Entrepreneurship.
Other packages to expect include the Apps Lounge and the African Innovations Arena.
Another look out at this year’s MOBEX will be the Next Generation segment which involves the exhibition of futuristic products and services.
This initiative will create the forum for technology device and consumables manufacturers to launch new products and also give consumers a sneak peek into yet-to-be released products and solutions.
