Indigenous bank, Royal bank has appointed Mr. Osei Asafo Adjei as its new Managing director, Citi Business News can confirm.
Mr. Osei Asafo Adjei prior to his appointment was the Executive director of corporate banking at HFC bank.
Mr. Osei Asafo Adjei takes over from Mr. Robert Kow Bentil who is retiring from the bank in August, 2016.
Mr. Robert Kow Bentil has been at the helm of affairs since August 2012.
Mr. Asafo-Adjei is expected to bring to the Royal bank immense experience having worked in the banking industry for years.
Mr. Asafo-Adjei prior to joining HFC was the General Manager Business Development at The Trust Bank (TTB).
He holds a BSc. Agriculture Economics degree and a Master of Philosophy in Agriculture Economics from the University of Glasgow, Scotland.
The Royal Bank Limited which is a wholly owned Ghanaian Bank was founded by astute business man Alhaji Adamu Iddrisu.
It was incorporated on July 15th, 2011, and started operations on December 10, 2012.
