Chief Executive Officer of the national electricity and gas group (SONELGAZ) Mustapha Gouitouni reassured customers that no increase in the prices of electricity and gas is scheduled for this year.
There will no increase in the prices of electricity and gas, Guitouni told APS on the sidelines of a meeting with executives of Sonelgaz in Algiers, stressing that the group has adopted rigorous measures to collect its dues of institutions and companies, which reached DZD 60 billion nationwide and more than DZD 10 billion in Algiers.
The same official said that these measures have been adopted to comply with international standards and ensure quality services to customers. He also announced the implementation of many projects is underway, mainly the renovation of electricity and gas network, e-payment and digitalization of meters.
