E-payment service is to be officially launched in Algeria on Tuesday, October 4th, the Association of Banks and Financial Institutions (ABEF) said Monday in a statement.
The launching ceremony, organized by the ABEF, will be attended by the minister of Finance, Hadji Baba Ammi, the minister of Poste, Information and Communication Technologies, Imane Houda Feraoun, the deputy minister for Digital Economy and Modernization of Financial Systems, Mouatassem Boudiaf, and the governor of the Bank of Algeria, Mohamed Loukal.
Many companies and institutions will open e-payment services on Tuesday, including Algerie Telecom, Mobilis, Air Algerie, Algiers’ company for Water and Sewerage (SEAAL), Djezzy, Oeredoo and Amana Assurances.
