Beta Malt optimistic of 2017 growth

The Country Director of Accra Brewery Limited, Philip Redman has lauded government for the tax cuts announced in the 2017 budget.

According to him, the relative stability of  power supply coupled with the tax exemptions among other things have greatly impacted the output of their businesses.

In an interview with Citi Business News, Mr. Redman said the company is optimistic it will continue to expand in its operations.

“We are increasing our excise payment but we are happy to do that, we have good relations with the government. We are also starting to experience some stability in the economy which is allowing us to do business the way we want to and that is a good thing and things are looking positive so it’s alright,” he said.

Mr. Redman spoke to Citi Business News at the sidelines of the launch of a new brand campaign for its non- alcoholic malt beverage, Beta Malt.

The product which was introduced onto the market in 2015 has since seen massive success.

Beta Malt was relaunched at an impressive ceremony to further claim space in the market and also give customers a more attractive labeling of the product.
