Businesses, individuals gear up for Citi Business Festival

Businesses and individuals are gearing up for what promises to be the biggest Business Festival for the year—The Citi Business Festival.

The festival will be launched on the 1st of June at the head office of MTN, Accra.

After the launch on the 1st of June, the festival will kick off  with a series of outdoor business fora.

The first in the series of the business fora will focus on how to enhance financial inclusion in Ghana in partnership with the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems (GhIPSS).

The event which will be held on the 1st of June at the Holiday Inn Hotel will coincide with GhIPSS’s 10 years anniversary this year.

The festival will also feature a programme in partnership with the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC)  at the Alisa Hotel on 6th of June. The forum will look at  how  investment rules must  change to enhance Ghana’s investment attractiveness as well as establish the link between Ghana’s Macroeconomic outlook and the potential to boost investment.

This year’s edition of the Sales Revolution is slated for 15th  and 16th  June at the Coconut Grove Hotel in Accra. This Sales Revolution is a one full day sales training programme which will provide adequate opportunities for sales persons and marketing executives on the dynamic trends and methods of sales and marketing. The event will assemble the best sales experts in the country who will make presentations on modern trends in the industry. The target is to boost the capacity of participants to positively impact their organisations.

This will be followed by  the Management Boot Camp from 18th June to 24th , at the Volta Hotel. This is a week-long residential executive education programme, for senior managers and businessmen. The carefully selected faculty of facilitators with a blend of rich academic and practical expertise will take participants through a wide range of contemporary management and strategic issues.

In addition, Citi FM will partner the Ghana Tourism Authority(GTA) to take a look at one of the most critical sectors of the economy—tourism, and its impact on Ghana’s development.   The Tourism and Hospitality Forum will be held in Accra on 22nd of June at Alisa Hotel.

One of the highlights programmes, the Innovation Summit will come off at the Labadi Beach Hotel on the 24th of June. The Innovation Summit is an interactive event on how to create value for the business community through innovation.

It will feature a panel of industry players, discussing how to generate business successes through innovation.

This event will bring together a panel to discuss innovations and business ideas. There will be a session which showcases innovators displaying their ideas to government.

The Festival will climax with a Roundtable discussion on Issues in the Real Estate and Housing sector. The event which will be held on 27th of June at Alisa Hotel will provide solutions on how Ghana can solve its housing deficit challenges.
