Management Boot Camp to train executives on military principles  

An insightful feature of this year’s edition of the Management Boot Camp as part of the Citi Business Festival is the military lessons participants will be taken through.

Of the seven topics to be covered at the Management Boot Camp, two are centred on how to ensure productivity and leap to growth with using military experiences.

The topics to be treated by officials from the Armed Forces Staff College are; Reinvigorate your leadership; lessons from the military and the art of war for executives; a military approach.

The one week residential training program as part of the Citi Business Festival, the Management Boot Camp comes off from Sunday the 18th of June to Saturday, June 24th.

The six day advanced management training program is designed for senior management in various industries and businessmen and women.

The training which is expected to accommodate thirty participants is carefully tailored toward senior management in public and private institutions as well as entrepreneurs who want to be ahead of competition.

The basic requirement to be able to enroll onto the program is a degree or diploma as the training takes for granted that participants have certain knowledge or experience to understand the topics to be treated.

In addition to the lessons from the military, participants will be made to know how to maximize productivity, how to adopt of inclusive business strategy as well as enhance customer experience for competitive advantage.

Other topics will focus on winning through innovation and understanding emotional intelligence.

Trainers for the Management Boot Camp include; Lawyer and businessman; Mr. Kofi Bentsil, Country Manager of Econetmedia, Maxwell Dodd, Branding Expert, Prof. Robert Hinson, Mr. Lawrence Attipoe as well as Cecilia Dei Annan.

The Management boot camp comes off this Sunday, the 18th of June to Saturday, the 24th of June at the Volta Hotel in Akosombo.

The fee for participation is 5,800 cedis. This covers accommodation for six nights, food and refreshment as well as tuition.
