The Management of the Danquah Institute has appointed Dr. Kingsley Nyarko as its new Executive Director.
His appointment took effect on July 1, 2017.
This was confirmed in a letter copied to Citi FM.
“You will be required to lead the Institute by providing effective leadership, promoting the ideology of the Danquah-Dombo-Busia tradition, fostering responsible governance on the African continent and espousing the virtues of individual liberties and economic freedom,” the letter stated.
Dr. Kingsley Nyarko is also expected to engage in cutting edge research and other activities that will benefit the tradition, nation and humanity.
He would also be responsible for the identification and grooming of future leaders while intensifying efforts towards connecting with a network of like-minded think tanks across the globe.
Dr. Kingsley Nyarko is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Psychology at the University of Ghana.
He has won a lot of awards, including the best researcher at the University in 2014/2015.
He obtained his Bachelor of Education degree at the University of Cape-Coast, and both his Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D.) degrees in Psychology and Educational Psychology respectively from the University of Munich, Germany.
He has worked in internationally reputable organisations and serves on several boards and committees in the academia and corporate world.
Dr. Nyarko’s aim is to intensify the Danquah Institute’s role as a training center for future leaders, especially in the Danquah-Dombo-Busia ideology.
