Moneygram has awarded prizes to their loyal banks that have excelled in transacting business through their medium as part of its Ghana @ 60 Promotion.
In a short ceremony held in Accra, the company awarded banks that have impacted positively and lived the dream of money transactions through their banks.
According to the Regional Marketing Manager, Anglophone West Africa at MoneyGram, Kofi Akyea, the move is to reward banks who have helped in realizing the dreams of their customers through money transactions as well as help remit money to Ghana.
Among the price winners was Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) which won the most collaborative agent as well as the Best bank, compliance awards.
Fidelity Bank won the Best Marketing Initiatives while the top performing agency was awarded to Ecobank Ghana.
The Fastest Growing Agent for the first half of the year (2017) was grabbed by Unibank Ghana.
Meanwhile the overall Best Agent was awarded to Ghana Commercial Bank.
They also took away the Best Operational control award.
