Foreign investors show interest in 1District, 1 Factory

Following the launch of the One District, One Factory initiative, some  foreign investors have hinted of plans to partner government in venturing into the programme.

According to them, investment in the project will help government in its agenda to create employment. They also believe government can benefit from their expertise in the field of construction.

Speaking on the matter, Managing Director for Bosch Ghana, Emmanuel Agyei said the company is ready to partner government to supply them with innovative tools and technical know-how in the construction of the factories.

“So we are looking at one district , one factory as a great opportunity. We are following everything that’s going on with regards to one district , one factory to see where we fit. If there any factories in any district, we have very simple solutions for very complicated solutions for such agenda so we are interested in getting involved”.

Mr. Adjei made these comments at a media briefing ahead of the company’s VIP Event.

The event was aimed at giving first hand training and safety tips to industry players and users of the products produced by Bosch.

Regional Sales Director, Power Tools, responsible for West and Central Africa, Benjamin Ofori who was also at the event  state that, “Bosch Ghana has geared a full business offering  for the construction , mining and related industries to meet their needs which includes a variety of power tools such as measuring, drilling, cutting and grinding to name a few”

In addition these are supported with a wide range of accessories for construction
