HFC bank to host Caribbean Trade Mission

HFC Bank (Ghana) Limited in partnership with its parent company, Republic Financial Holdings limited is set to organize the maiden Caribbean Trade Mission in Ghana from next week; 26th September to 28th September at the Movenpick Ambassadorial hotel in Accra.

The Trade Mission will see over 30 companies and institutions including business people, investors, policy makers and industry leaders from Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, Barbados and Surinam  with interest ranging from oil and gas, manufacturing, Education, distribution, to mention a few.

The objective of the mission is to facilitate  long-term trade and investment opportunities with the unique focus on establishing business alliances between Ghanaian businesses and their Caribbean counterparts that will lead to mutually beneficial economic transformations.

The 3-day trade summit will have among other things; Panel Discussions, Experts presentations, One-on-One business discussions and Exhibitions. Delegates will also have the opportunity to tour some historic sites in Ghana. The President of Ghana will host the delegates at the flagstaff house to discuss investments promotion in Ghana.

This mission comes in fulfillment of a promise that the President of Republic Financial Holdings Limited; Nigel Baptiste gave to the President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo during a closed door meeting held at the Flagstaff House in April this year.
