Esther Cobbah wins CSR CEO of the Year

The Chief Executive Officer of Stratcomm Africa, Madam Esther Cobbah has won the  2017 edition of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) CEO of the year.

Madam Cobbah was adjudged the best for personally intervening in CSRs activities undertaken by the company.

At the event, top telecommunications companies, fast-moving consumer goods manufacturers, industries, banks , engineering and construction companies, consultancies, airlines, hoteliers , local and international business in Ghana gathered at the event in Accra.

Vodafone Ghana, Tigo, Guinness Ghana, Unilever Ghana, Odebrecht Engineering, Fidelity Bank, uniBank, Access Bank, Accra City Hotel , Coconut Grove Hotel, Wire Weaving Industries, Stratcomm Africa, MTN, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Delta Airline, Huawei Technologies won various awards.

The GHACEA is Ghana’s biggest social responsibility event bringing together all major players within the CSR and sustainability platform in the country.

The awards is supported by the Association of Ghana Industries, the Federation of Association of Ghanaian Exporters, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Japan International Cooperation Agency, Integriti PR, Westkomm and many local and international media organizations.

It is modeled after the European CSR Awards scheme with multi-stakeholder jury drawn from academia, media, civil society, business associations and regulatory agencies.
