Zenith Bank Ghana on Saturday, March 24, 2018, embarked on the first edition of its annual health walk for the year.
The exercise, comprised members of staff, customers as well as some sections of the general public.
The walk which lasted for about two hours, started at the El-Wak sports stadium and saw participants walking through some principal streets of Accra.
The Managing Director of Zenith Bank, Henry Oroh in a brief speech to commend participants, touted the banks contribution to the economy with its employment, profitability and other corporate social responsibility projects.
Mr. Oroh among others highlighted some achievements of the bank over the last one year including the inauguration of the bank’s ultra modern head office at Ridge in Accra which was opened by the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.
Commenting on the bank’s 2017 performance, the Zenith Bank boss said that the bank recorded a profit after tax of 25% while its overall balance sheet went up by 30%.
Meanwhile the bank is poised to encourage staff training to keep it ahead of competition from 2018 onwards.
