At least three executive positions at MTN Ghana have been left vacant following the exit of two executives and the promotion of one.
The positions that are vacant are that of the Chief Executive Officer, Corporate Services Executive as well as the Chief Marketing Officer.
The positions were previously occupied by Mr. Ebenezer Asante, Madam Cynthia Lumor and Mr. Asha Khan respectively.
Mr. Ebenezer Asante’s position as CEO has become vacant following his appointment as a Vice President for MTN’s Southern & East Africa and Ghana (SEAGHA) Region in October 2017.
On her part, the former Corporate Services Executive, Madam Cynthia Lumor, who resigned about three months ago, has since assumed a new role at Tullow Ghana as its Director of Social Performance and External Affairs.
Meanwhile, Chief Marketing Officer Mr. Asha Khan, has also left the company since December 2017.
It is unclear what influenced the exit of the top officials but Citi Business News’ sources say the exits will least affect the company’s operations.
