Make information accessible to reduce corruption–Chinedu Echeruo

Global Tech Entrepreneur and Founder of HopStop, Chinedu Echeruo has stated that African governments can be more efficient and reduce corruption if accessing information is made easier.

According to him, the practice where only a few privileged people have access to information, while the majority do not, creates a system that fuels corrupt acts.

“How do you deal with corruption? I think the block chain represents the most significant opportunity for African governments to really cut at the heart of corruption. Corruption stems primarily from para dynamics difference and also information difference. If you can equalize information you will reduce corruption,” he said.
