The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, will launch “The Coordinated Programme of Economic and Social Development Policies” at the Accra International Conference Centre on Wednesday, 11th April, 2018, a statement copied to Citi Business News has said.
This programme dubbed, “An Agenda for Jobs: Creating Prosperity and Equal Opportunity for All”, outlines the President’s vision for the country and specific programmes and interventions to achieve this vision.
The Coordinated Programme was presented to Parliament in November 2017 in fulfilment of Article 36, Clause 5 of the 1992 Constitution, which requires that “…within two years after assuming office, the President shall present to Parliament a coordinated programme of economic and social development policies, including agricultural and industrial programmes at all levels and in all the regions of Ghana.”
The launch will take place at the Accra International Conference Centre on Wednesday, 11th April 2018 at 1.30pm prompt.
