The Chief Executive Officer of Dalex Finance, Ken Thompson has called on business owners to desist from corrupt actions.
He adds that it renders businesses uncompetitive as it further results in the reduction in cost of doing business.
Speaking at a seminar on the theme ‘Business Ethics and Integrity: Addressing corruption risk in Ghana ’ organized by the Ghana National Chamber of commerce and Industry in Accra, Mr. Thompson advised businesses to eschew corrupt practices.
Managing Partner at Rainbow Consult Margaret Jackson on her part also highlighted some ethical solutions to the issue of corruption which when followed can tone down the act.
Meanwhile Co-Chair at Citizens movement Against Corruption, Edem Senanu, also believes it only makes indigenous businesses uncompetitive.
Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso the first, President of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce & Industry who also chaired the occasion said they will collaborate with the necessary outfits to fight corruption in the business space.
The seminar was in collaboration with rainbow consult and CIPE, and was on the theme “fight against corruption”.
