Patrons of the mobile money interoperability platform should be enjoying seamless transactions in the coming days when the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems (GhIPSS) completes its system upgrade.
The General Manager for Mobile Financial Services at MTN, Eli Hini told Citi Business News the move should ease any apprehension and hesitation to use the platform.
Some customers have complained of their inability to transfer money from MTN to other networks using the interoperability system.

GhIPSS in an earlier interview admitted to the challenges and assured of rectifying the situation. But Mr. Hini is confident that the rectification of the issues should boost patronage and enhance financial inclusion.
