Menzgold will bounce back — NAM1 begs gov’t to unfreeze accounts

Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of gold dealership firm Menzgold Ghana, has revealed that the ability of the company to settle the debt owed his customers is dependent on government willingness to amongst other things help the company retrieve some US$39 million debt owed him by a Dubai company Royal Horizon.

This was made known at a press conference dubbed NAM speaks aimed at clarifying issues relating to the current status of the gold dealership firm.

Justifying the legitimacy of the company while addressing the press, the CEO of the company Nana Appiah Mensah called on the government to unfreeze his account and that of the company to enable him to settle his debt.

The embattled CEO stated that the challenges facing the company expressed the readiness of the company to adhere to the regulatory regime to get the company back on its feet.
