Speakers announced for Citi FM/TV’s Ghana Rising Conference

Some speakers for the Citi FM/TV’s Ghana Rising conference have confirmed their participation in the event which comes off on September 19, 2019, at the Kempinski Gold Coast City Hotel in Accra.

The one day conference will feature four thematic sectors including Oil and Gas, Finance, Green Economy and Agribusiness.

Some of the key speakers who have confirmed participation in the event include legal practitioner David Ofosu Dorte who will take charge of a special session on maximising the benefits of the African Continental Free Trade Area.

The keynote speaker, Tony Oteng-Gyasi who will deliver an address on the theme: “Taking the commanding heights of the Ghanaian Economy: opportunities for indigenous businesses,” has also confirmed his participation.

The one day conference will also feature a presentation that assesses the competitiveness of indigenous businesses. That presentation will be delivered by Michael Kottoh of Konfidants — the company whose latest research revealed how marginalised Ghanaian products are on the shelves of some of the leading supermarkets in Ghana.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Exim Bank, Lawrence Agyensam, has also confirmed his attendance and will participate in the Finance Session will discuss practical issues the country faces in its quest to raise the needed capital for the indigenous business sector.

The Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Robert Ahomka-Lindsay has accepted to be part of the Ministerial Panel discussion that will feature other sector Ministers such as Finance, Food and Agriculture and Energy.
