GCB Bank yesterday won the KPMG Nii Amanor Dodoo Cup, a football tournament held in honor of the departing KPMG Senior Country Partner.
The tournament held at the Ajax Park in the University of Ghana saw GCB Bank beat KPMG in the finals by a goal to nil.
There were four companies who took in the tournament: GCB Bank, Ecobank Ghana and Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) and host KPMG.
Andrew Akoto, a Partner at the auditing firm said the tournament exceeded their expectations.
“This tournament exceeded our expectation with the turnout, with the organization and the results. Nii Amanor Dodoo spent 40 years with KPMG, growing the firm to exponential levels to the point that we are the leading financial professional services firms in Ghana. We thank everybody for showing up to give support to this wonderful man for what he has done, not only to the firm also to the business community in Ghana.”
