Executive Director of OmniBSIC Bank, Philip Oti-Mensah, says the bank has been able to seamlessly integrate the operations of the two banks that were merged to form OmniBSIC.
After the banking sector cleanup in 2018, the Bank of Ghana approved a merger between OmniBank and Sahel Sahara Bank, to help the new entity meet the capital requirement.
Speaking to journalists on the integration after a Fitness Walk, the bank’s Executive Director, Philip Oti-Mensah, said the bank is focused on delivering the best customer experience.
“Our merger is complete. In celebration of this important milestone, OmniBSIC Bank is staging this first nationwide Health and Fitness Walk, themed “At your service,” Mr. Oti-Mensah said.
He explained that the event is aimed at thanking customers of the bank for their loyalty during the merger process, while increasing awareness of the new OmniBSIC brand among the public.
The Fitness walk began simultaneously at three key locations across the country: Accra at the El Wak Sports Stadium, Kumasi at the Asokwa Shopping Mall, and Takoradi at the Liberation Road branch, of OmniBSIC.
At the end of the walk, staff were made to undertake a range of fun team building activities to round off the day.
