Prudential bank has opened two new branches in Accra, the Airport city branch and the Cantonments branch.
The two new branches bring the total number of the bank’s branches across the country to 41.
Speaking at the opening of the branches, the Deputy Managing Director (Finance, Administration and Credit Administration) John K Addo, intimated that the strength of the loyalty of the Bank’s customers, was demonstrated in the growth of the Bank’s business during the recent banking industry clean-up exercise.
“This is indeed a testament to the excellent quality of service the bank has provided over the years.”
He added that “the banking industry crisis is over, the banks that are still standing have met the minimum capital requirement and are poised for growth. It is envisaged that competition will continue to intensify and regulation will become more stringent.”
Despite the expected intensified competition in the industry, Prudential Bank is optimistic about its prospects for the future.
The bank is set to roll out various digital services to make transactions easier and more convenient and accessible to customers.
These include the Prudential Bank Mobile App, which will enable customers access banking services on their mobile devices.
An upgrade of the bank’s internet banking service to offer modern features such as alerts, expenditure analysis and reminders among others to enrich the customer experience.
In addition, the Bank will improve its visibility with a social media launch on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to enhance customer interactions.
Mrs. Akosua Boahen, Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs, also speaking at the event, said that the Bank has been in the banking business for 23 years.
“From its early days as a one branch bank, we have grown steadily to this milestone where we now have 41 branches and 2 agencies spread across the country.”.
She said the bank had continuously adopted a policy of bringing its unique banking services to the doorsteps of its customers.
