CFAO Group supports Ghana’s COVID-19 fight with 2 Mitsubishi pick-up trucks

CFAO Group, a leading  distributor of brands within retail and equipment in Africa and beyond, has donated two Mitsubishi L200 pick-up trucks to Ghana’s COVID-19 National Trust Fund to support efforts aimed at curbing the spread of the disease.

At a ceremony held at the forecourt of the offices of the Trust Fund at Jubilee House, Point Six, Country Delegate of the CFAO Group in Ghana, Paulo Fernandes, said their organization finds it necessary to offer the most robust pick-up trucks to the managers of the Fund to aid in their movement in the Greater Accra Region and across the country.

The Lead Trustee, Chief Justice (Rtd) Sophia Akuffo, after receiving the keys to the vehicles, noted that the two vehicles have come in at a good time in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

She said the two cars would be allocated for prompt use by those at the frontline of the national fight to prevent the virus from gaining further grounds in the country.

CFAO Group Ghana

CFAO in Ghana was set up in 1909. There are currently five subsidiaries that operate under the group.

They are CFAO Motors, CFAO Equipment, PPGL, Euracare and Gokals Laborex.

This presentation came from the collective effort of all the subsidiaries under the group.

CFAO Motors distributes Mitsubishi, Suzuki 2 wheel and 4 wheel vehicles as well as outboard engines, with a robust after sales service.

CFAO Equipment distributes heavy duty industrial equipment. They have brands like DAF, FUSO, JCB, Bridgestone, Toyota Industrial Equipment, Camso and Techking tyres.

Gokals Laborex is responsible for the distribution of pills and medication for global pharmaceutical brands like Pfizer, GSK, Novartis etc. Supply to hospitals and NGOs and local production of licensed medicines.

Euracare specializes in diagnostic and medical care centres, with a world class healthcare facility in Cantonments.

PPGL (Pens and Plastics Ghana Limited) in Ghana deals in Foods, Hygiene and Convenience products. They distribute Capri Sun fruit juices, Bic pens and shavers. They also make crates for breweries and drink companies.
