Ghana’s COVID-19 case count hits 7,768; 2,540 recoveries and 35 deaths

Ghana’s COVID-19 cases have risen to 7,768. This was revealed by the Ghana Health Service on Saturday 30th May, 2020.

The update shows that 152 new cases have been recorded in the country.

Also, some 128 people have recovered from the virus taking the number of recoveries to 2,540.

Meanwhile, one death has also been recorded bringing to 35 the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the country.

According to the Ghana Health Service, two out of five persons are in critical condition and are now on ventilators.

The five in critical condition are part of 15 persons  who are severely ill.

The University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC), has five of the severely ill persons, whereas the Ga East Municipal Hospital Hospital has four.

Both Korlebu and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospitals have three each at their facilities.

The Ho Hospital and Nyaho Medical Center have one and two severely ill persons respectively.
