Ghana’s total COVID-19 case count has increased to 13,717 after 514 new cases were recorded.
The number of recoveries has also increased to 10,074 following the new discharge protocols announced by the Ghana Health Service in line with the World Health Organizations review of the guidelines.
Per the new protocol, asymptomatic persons are discharged after 14 days without another test to confirm whether they’re truly negative or not.
The update shows an increase of 15 more deaths raising the death toll to 85, the largest number recorded so far in a single update.
However, no details were provided on the new deaths.
