Ghanaians love meat. Beyond the mouth-watering taste and nutritional benefits, meat serves as a sign of wealth and is usually proudly displayed at parties.
As the Christmas season draws close, one of the sectors that will be cashing in on Ghanaians is the meat, fisheries ad poultry sector.
Unlike previous years, the weeks leading up to the holidays have been relatively quiet.
Despite this, players in the meat and poultry industry are optimistic that they will record large volumes of sales and are preparing accordingly.
Citi Business News engaged Lasu Lo, a premium steakhouse and seafood grill restaurant in East Legon, Abibinsroma farms, a poultry farm that houses over 1000 chickens, and Lojarno, an AgriTech start-up that enables Ghanaians to shop seafood from the comfort of their homes, about their preparation to take full advantage of the festive season.
