The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Moontouch Travel Limited, Madam Radia Adama Saani, has been adjudged best Travel & Tourism CEO of the year 2020 at the 3rd Northern Excellence Awards.
The event took place at the Nim Avenue Hotel in Tamale, on Saturday, 27th March 2021.
She received the prestigious award alongside other distinguished personalities such as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Yendi Constituency, Farouk Aliu Mahama, Deputy Managing Director of Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) Hassan Tali, Hajia Alima Sagit, the Executive Director of Savanna Women Integrated Agency and the wife of former Northern Regional Minister, Hon. Salifu Saeed, and Presidential Staffer, Napaga Tia Sulemana.
The bilingual entrepreneur’s hard work and leadership qualities, attracted the attention of various organizations and earned her remarkable achievements and admiration.
Speaking in an interview, Radia Adama Saani explained that despite unavoidable threats posed by the covid-19 pandemic to businesses globally especially in the Aviation & Tourism sectors, Moontouch Travel Ltd, through instrumental leadership, braved the storm and positioned the company as one of the best performing Travel Agents in Ghana with significant tour operations and consultancy.
She commended the award scheme for duly recognizing the positive strives she made even in the midst of challenges to stay relevant in the travel and tour business.
According to the celebrated entrepreneur, the award secured further cemented her determination to use quality leadership to impact society especially making young female professionals from the North and the entire country proud with her achievements.
