Over a week after onion sellers were relocated to Adjen Kotoku from Agbogbloshie, business appears to be picking up at a rather encouraging rate.
This is not limited to the traders alone, but also the local economy.
Although the traders still have many challenges that need to be addressed as soon as possible, most of them are very much elated and hopeful of the prospects the new location offers.
A visit to the Adjen Kotoku market on Thursday saw many onion traders very busy with their business.
Although there are still no allocated places for a majority of these traders, they have taken advantage of the open spaces and shoulders of the road in front of the market to sell their produce.
