The task force tasked to evict foreigners involved in retail trade in Ghana will convene on Thursday to re-strategize on how to get them out of the markets.
This comes two days after the expiration of a 30-day ultimatum from the Ministry of Trade to all foreign retail traders to leave the markets.
The Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA) earlier expressed disappointment at the failure of the Ministry to draw up a strategy to monitor the effectiveness of their directive.
GUTA some months ago ordered buy accutane for cheap their members in Accra and Kumasi to close down their shops in protest against government’s failure to eject foreigners in retail trade.
Currently, there is seeming tension in markets across the country over the operations of foreigners engaged in trade activities which are the sole preserve of Ghanaians.
In an earlier interview with Citi Business News, the lead representative of GUTA, Joseph Osei Yaw Agyeman said all Ghanaian traders were expected to help in flashing out the foreigners in retail trade.
