Ghana-Kenya business relationship to deepen

President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta has urged for stronger trade collaboration between Ghana and Kenya. According to him, Kenya possesses the requisite opportunities for business growth to enhance investments into both countries. Uhuru Kenyatta also believes harmonizing resources for business growth will reflect in the overall vision of the ECOWAS and the East African community to facilitate free trade among member states. He made these comments during this year’s Independence Day celebration where he was a special guest of honor.

“Let us continue to work together, to enhance the trade between our two countries which continues to record steady growth. Let us continue to encourage each other through our business communities and to attract investments to our capitals and let us continue to interact with each other so as to force partnerships that will lead to more businesses, more skill transfer and complement,” Mr. Kenyatta noted. He further stated, “To the Ghanaian people and the business community, Kenya is open for business. At the end of it all, let us harmonize our vision with a continent vision of a continental free trade area, which I must underscore and receive great support from ECOWAS and the East African community.
