Millison Narh is acting Governor of BoG

                                             

The First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana (BoG), Millison Narh has taken over as acting Governor of the Bank following the resignation of Dr. Henry Kofi Wampah.

Mr. Narh is expected to act until a substantive Governor is appointed by the President.

[contextly_sidebar id=”3oC7q1Y2vwHAB3S8A0rHmoULyMnlsIxH”]He takes up the new role following BoG’s announcement  that, Dr. Henry Wampah has taken an early retirement.

Mr. Narh is a member of committees which include Corporate Governance Committee, the Strategic Planning and Budget Committee,  the Monetary Policy Committee and the Human Resource, Governance and Legal Committee at the BoG.

He once served as Director of the Training Centre at Bank of Ghana.

Mr. Narh has been First Deputy Governor of the BoG since July 20, 2009.

He would be supported in his new role by the Dr. Abdul- Nashiru Issahaku.
