Heritage bank donates GHS50,000 to GH@60 committee  

Heritage Bank Limited has responded to the President’s call for the private sector to support the ‘Ghana: 60 years on’ activities.

During the launch of the National Planning Committee on the 26th of January 2017, the President appealed to Corporate Ghana to support by raising necessary funds towards the Diamond Jubilee activities which are slated to run for the entire year.

These laudable activities include construction of libraries across the 10 regions, a Heads of State Museum and an Entrepreneurship challenge, among others.

Heritage bank has exhibited its solidarity and patriotism by donating GHS50,000 to the ‘Ghana: 60 years on’ committee.

Speaking at the presentation, the Managing Director of the bank, Patrick Edwin Fiscian said “Heritage Bank Limited being a proud indigenous bank, is very passionate about contributing to the advancement of the Ghanaian society and particularly that of our future leaders”.

“As part of the bank’s CSR agenda we will be embarking on projects that focus on entrepreneurship and the environment,” he added.

The team was pleased to have the Chairman of the committee Mr. Ken Amankwah and the Deputy Chief of Staff and Vice Chairman of the committee, Mr Abu Jinapor, receive the contribution.

They commended the bank on its generosity and patriotism and wished the bank well in its endeavors.
