The first in the series of the business fora in the 2017 edition of the Citi Business Festival has been held at the Holiday Inn in Accra.
The event was a collaboration between Citi FM and the Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlements Systems (GhIPSS).
The key issue discussed was how to enhance financial inclusion in Ghana.
The forum also looked at how other countries in Africa have improved financial inclusion using technology and how Ghana can learn and adopt some of the success stories.

As part of the forum, the CEO of GhIPSS , Mr. Archie Hesse made a presentation on how the institution has encouraged financial inclusion since it was formed in 2007.
Other speakers at the forum included Ms. Buddy Buruku, a Ugandan national who works with CGAP’s Inclusive Markets, Curtis Vanderpuije, CEO of expressPay and Eli Hini, a Chartered Marketer with over 17 years experience in leadership positions with MTN , Unilever Ghana Ltd, and Coca-Cola Bottling Company Ltd.
