The President Nana Akufo Addo has appointed Mr. Kwame Sowu Jnr as the chairman of the governing body of the Ghana Museums and Monuments board.
A letter cited by Citi Business News signed by the Chief of staff Madam Akosua Frema Osei-Opare said the President in consultation with the council of state had appointed Mr. Sowu Jnr to chair the board.
Mr. Kwame Sowu was a member of the transition team on the Tourism Sector that collated information and state of affairs from the previous government for the new Akufo Addo government.
Earlier, he was a key member of the 2016 Manifesto subcommittee on Tourism and Creative Arts of the New Patriotic Party where he made significant contributions including the submission of a twelve point policy proposal.
He is currently the Founder and Managing Director of Energy Synergies Limited, suppliers of electromechanical goods and services to the power mining, industrial and oil and gas sectors.
He studied MSC, Project Management at Saltford University, UK and was at the Ghana Institute of Journalism where he studied Public Relations, Marketing and Advertising.
