AIDEC International launches Digital Solutions and Excellence Center

Three months into the operationalization of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), CEO of AIDEC Holdings Ltd, Mr. Ambrose Yennah has emphasized the need for micro, small and medium enterprises, MSMEs to effectively leverage on digital technologies, to drive growth and success.

According to him, the pandemic has introduced modern trends of doing business, something that SMEs in the country must take advantage of.

Speaking at the launch of the AIDEC Digital Solutions and Excellence Center in Accra, Mr. Ambrose Yennah, noted that though COVID-19 has been destructive in many ways, the destructive events have catalyzed change for the better.

“We are witnessing an awakening of a new world order; the world of business is not the same. An obvious change during this crisis has been the increase in reliance and confidence in technology. It will facilitate the flow of goods, ideas and capital, and enhance innovation in the public and private sectors of Africa,” he said.

“The challenge now is how governments and business leaders will craft and execute clear strategies to harness the benefits of digitalization, thus the rationale for the launch of this digital centre,” he added.

He also stated that the Center’s aim is to use integrated services to do business in Africa adding that, AIDEC is determined to support these enterprises to transform their old ways and be digitally inclined.

This, he said will enable them to be sustainable especially with the advent of AfCFTA.

AIDEC Consultancies International Ltd, a subsidiary of the AIDEC Holdings Ltd, launched The AIDEC Digital Solutions and Excellence Center to provide digital solutions for businesses, public sector institutions and corporate organizations and Small and Medium Enterprise (SMEs).

“We will help clients wire their organisations for the future. We will work with clients in the health, banking and finance, energy, education, retail and agric sectors to drive growth, efficiency and innovation using technology that works for people, profit and the planet! Our sensitivity to the environment means that we will work with clients to explore green technologies to power clean and sustainable development on the Continent.

Mr. Yennah further noted that, “the Team at AIDEC Consultancies International Ltd is excited to unveil its new baby to the public. We look forward to fostering prosperous partnerships across Africa to bridge digital skills gaps and offer high quality technology consulting services”.
