Toyota Ghana Company Limited has officially introduced its latest engine oil onto the Ghanaian market.
The Toyota Genuine Motor Oil (TGMO) is an engine lubricant that has been designed specifically for Toyota vehicles.
It provides a strong, thin film of protection which allows the engine parts to work together to deliver maximum power and give more miles per litre.
Unlike other brands, the TGMO lubricants have been tested and developed extensively by the company to ensure they are the best possible match for their vehicles’ needs.
Speaking during the launch of the product, Head of Sales of Toyota Ghana Limited, Andrew Lamptey, noted that though the company has various products on the market, the Genuine Motor Oil is an engine oil designed to meet the challenges presented by both the very latest, as well as more traditional, engine technologies.
“TGMO is specially formulated with optimum cleaning and protection capabilities for your Toyota vehicle. It also provides complete engine protection against friction and heat for better performance and maximum engine life in diverse driving conditions.”
The event was under the theme, “The choosing the right oil for your vehicle”.
Seidu Iddrisu, the Manager in charge of aftersales operations of Toyota Ghana, explained to Citi Business News what customers should look out for when deciding on the right oil for their vehicle’s engines.
“We have three variants of the oil; OW-20, 15W-40 and 5W-30. Each variant has specific vehicles and models that they are used for. There will some that is going to be used for diesel and petrol together. There is one that is used only for petrol, and there is one used for modern vehicles. So always make sure to give all details about your vehicle to our service providers, so they can choose the oil that will be fit for your vehicle.”
In order to strengthen the partnership between the company and its clients, a 20% discount has been provided for bulk purchasers. Mr. Iddrisu gives more details about this.
“We want to be able to reach everyone within Ghana, but our outlets are not enough. This means that we have to partner with people all across Ghana, and those people also have to make profit. So we’ve introduced this huge 20% discount for people who’ll come and pick from us in bulk, so they can sell and make more profit.”
